Steve Jobs $1 annual salary

For fashion? For friends? For reals!?
Jobs works at Apple for an annual salary of US$1, and this earned him a listing in Guinness World Records as the “Lowest Paid Chief Executive Officer.” His current salary at Apple officially remains US$1 per year…
This approach reduces his personal tax liability because, under current U.S. tax law, salary income is taxed at a significantly higher rate (currently up to 35%) than the capital gains tax (currently a maximum of 15%) applied to profits arising from the sale of stock grants. Obtaining remuneration through stock instead of salary is a common extrinsic rewarding technique which ties management performance to financial benefits. Furthermore, it acts as a tax minimization strategy.

We were sitting in PIE by the Pound (around Union Square), I picked up an old copy of Australian Vogue Living, and I feel in love with this font! What is this? It’s fun and elegant. It looks very similar to Fertigo, a recent download of mine, but not quite. If anyone knows the name of this font and where I can find it, please let me know.

Bumble and Bumble called me, clear out of the blue, on Tuesday, to tell me they had had some cancellations in their Model Project, and if I wanted to come in that night. This is something I’ve participated in a number of times and it has always been a fun experience. I don’t understand why anyone in this city would pay for a haircut when something like this is available. This time, I walked away with my favorite results to date!

That’s so fuckin’ clever!

Jack & Jules
Once upon a time a California boy met a Georgia girl in New York. They didn't get along, at first. But, little by little, they fell in love. Today, they are happily living in Santa Cruz, CA and still very much in love, running an Etsy print shop and a branding & design business together.
