NEW Framed Prints!

NEW Framed Prints in our Etsy Shop
Whoops, I completely lost track of time yesterday, working, arting, etc. Fun stuff over in our shop: ready-to-hang framed prints!

We’ve been collecting vintage and antique frames for a few months. We pick out our favorites, clean ‘em up, possible paint them, and match them up with a print. The results, I think, are fantastic! It really completes the print, and every one is unique!

Shop Update

One-of-a-Kind - AIFOL - Metalic Zig-Zag Matted Print in the Etsy Shop

Just to let you all know, the shop is back and open!

What’s even more exciting is the new matted prints! We’ve had a real blast picking out beautifully textured paper that really makes the prints pop! We currently have 3 large (AIFOL, Follow Your Bliss & Explore, Dream, Discover) and 1 small (Watercolor Owl) that wil be posted throughout the week, but hope to be doing loads more in the near future!

Ladies in Type

I’ve been working on this new series for over a month, and it’s been really great seeing where it’s going. We acquired a number of old, forgotten landscape paintings, knowing that I could find something fun to do with them. At first I was just painting them, but I felt like something was still missing, so I’ve been going back and hand-embroidering!
Thrift
I’m enjoying the process so much and I so excited see them as a full collection once finished!

Both Lust & Thrift are currently in the shop, and more originals and prints will be coming soon!

There’s a few fun things coming to the shop this week! Posted this to Etsy Friday evening and forgot to mention it here.

A fun peek into the original drawing that is the base for one of our most popular prints.

While some of our prints are created entirely in the computer, a lot of them start out as drawings or sketches. This is an example of an ink drawing that was pieced together with other elements (in this case watercolor splotches) to create something else.

Oh, and just a quick FYI: the store will be on vacation for all of next week, and probably the following week, as pack, move and settle in to our new place in Santa Cruz. It’s all happening so fast! Exciting!
