I’m soooo disappointed with how this season has turned out. I loved Kenley, at first, and now I’m disappointed how, as her design quality has declined, her bitchy attitude has increased. I can’t believe they didn’t cut her after the terrible botanical gown challenge (or that “avant-garde” disaster). It was very clear who the three strongest designers were: Leanne, Korto and Jerrel. And that should have been that. But, noooo, they had to do the same stupid surprise they did last season… with a twist! I rolled my eyes a lot during that. I guess it all comes down to, “WTF are the judges smoking this season!?”
Anyways, aside from my ramble… Project Runway seems that it will not be putting on it’s normal and always uncomfortable reunion show. So Project Rungay put on their own! Funny funny stuff (and I have a new favorite blog)!
The emails have been piling up, so here goes the second edition (which I’m also calling the “NY Times edition”) of “Neat Links From My Father!”
- A “good and cheap” Chinese restaurant in the city, I will have to investigate and give my input.
- Get inspired by the creativity and thriftiness of college students!
- More from the NY Times, this time an article about Shepard Fariey (probably the most famous for his Andre the Giant / OBEY and Obama posters).
- Hidden Parks of NYC
- Google releases a HopStop-like (a transit navigational site) feature for New York and New Jersey. But, unlike HopStop, Google works directly and is affiliated with the MTA, Port Authority and NJ Transit.
- Who doesn’t love Barbar?
- Moose Hunting with Woody Allen.
There is a success principle that says; You can see where a person is headed by the books he or she reads and the people that he or she associates with.
…
I guess I won’t call any group out for forwarding this to me…
Even though it might shed some light on who I associate with.
Penny Arcade had a great comic in response to those Gates & Seinfeld Windows ads that have been comingout recently. As my dad said “their funny, but I don’t get it.” Glad to know I’m not the only one.
Jack and I got the giggles really good when I stumbled upon this hysterical blog, Cake Wrecks. And, the more we read, the funnier the page got. By the time we had reached the last (technically first) post we were in tears!
