Dutch Seen at The Museum of the City of New York
Hope your weekend was as nice as mine! Saturday was chill until the night came and we stayed out ’til the sun came up. Jack and I caught a few winks Sunday morning then it was out for brunch and while wondering the Northern top of Central Park decided to stop into The Museum of the City of New York, which I always forget is there. I was very excited, as I had read about the “Mannahatta/Manhattan” exhibit recently and wanted to check it out. That was all good and well, but the surprise treat was the “Dutch Seen” exhibit, a showcase of modern Dutch photographers. The above photograph is by Hendrik Kerstens, entitled ‘Napkin’; his series being one of the highlights of the show. Sadly (though good for us), yesterday was the last day. You should absolutely check out the museum, regardless!
