Steve Jobs $1 annual salary

Steve Jobs $1 annual salary
For fashion? For friends? For reals!?

Jobs works at Apple for an annual salary of US$1, and this earned him a listing in Guinness World Records as the “Lowest Paid Chief Executive Officer.” His current salary at Apple officially remains US$1 per year…
This approach reduces his personal tax liability because, under current U.S. tax law, salary income is taxed at a significantly higher rate (currently up to 35%) than the capital gains tax (currently a maximum of 15%) applied to profits arising from the sale of stock grants. Obtaining remuneration through stock instead of salary is a common extrinsic rewarding technique which ties management performance to financial benefits. Furthermore, it acts as a tax minimization strategy.

NY trivia on April First?

In the seemingly never ending cycle of Hot Sex and censorship NY seems to have had an enlightened moment that history may never forget. In 1939 and 40 Flushing New York was chosen as the location for the World Fair not to mention for the entire world to glimpse the world of tomorrow for two short seasons. And while this testament to Human creation was under way in flushing, less than ten miles away in times square a true change to our world was under way.

For the duration of the worlds fair New York Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia felt that it was important for New York City to put its best… (foot forward?) by covering the genitals of all times square exotic dancers, and thus through the ingenuity of one of the most creative and industrious cities in America, The thong was born.
