Yippy
It is a great Friday! I just sat down with my boss and had a great little talk. During our road trip in August (and possibly beyond!) I’ll be able to keep my job and work 100% remote. The end of the month will be here faster than we know it and I’m so flippin’ excited! Plus there’s the move San Diego in September!!! The weekend will be tons of fun, too, since the the parents are in town! So much awesome!

And to celebrate Jack and I went down, during my lunch break, to check out the Union Square Greenmarket! I highly recommend checking it out; open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday. It’s wonderful to see all the local producers and everyone mingling, enjoying the warmth! We got some nice organic steak and turkey, which I am very much looking forward to cooking up!
In other news, YES, more puppy pictures… I love French Bulldogs! Enjoy your weekend and the beginning of Spring!

Since the weekend ended, I’ve been having a grumpy couple of days (PMS? work?), but this, by Christoph Niemann, made me feel a little better.
During the cold and dark Berlin winter days, I spend a lot of time with my boys in their room. And as I look at the toys scattered on the floor, my mind inevitably wanders back to New York.

I’m in a pretty good mood this morning, (which is a bit surprising considering how much I am a Grumpy anytime before Noon) but a lot of things are making me smile.
• My Bumble & Bumble appointment is today and the timing couldn’t be better!
• Next week we leave for Georgia and my cousin’s wedding. That’s going to be a blast!
• We finally bought an AC unit for the apartment. I still haven’t figured out how I made it through last summer without one. I just don’t sleep very well when it’s all hot and gross.
• On the other end of the above spectrum: My office is freezing, but today I came adequately prepared and shall not shiver the day away!
• Stimulus check!!
• Daydreaming about our next apartment. We don’t have a new place, yet (we still have a little bit of time), but I’m so ready to move out of our current place and on to something new!
