This will be my, I think, second year searching for the perfect casual, yet classic, boot. My main barrier in finding it has been price… still is, as the following list will show. So, these are my favorites from the more corporate outlets. (I still need to head over to Etsy, Ebay and the likes.)

Urban Outfitters
We Who See Leather Lace-Up, Frye Owen Lace

Anthropologie
Shoelaced Boots (they get a little star cuz they my faves), Button Brigade Boots

Free People
Johnny Ankle Boot, Barolo Buckle Boot,

I’ve been using my cousin’s wedding as an excuse to buy dress after dress. But, the dress I’ve really been wanting is this Sandhill Halter Dress for about a month now, but the $170 price tag had been keeping me at arms length. But, my sweet lovely grandmother said she would help me pay for it since she really knew how much I wanted it. And, I am happy to say that, as of yesterday, I am in possession of the last size 2 in this city! Now we start shopping for Jack and find me some shoes!

These scans are from Anthropologie’s catalog, I received yesterday. I like to keep them around purely for inspiration. They always has the best interior designers whether it’s for their photographs in their catalogs or their stunning stores. I would love to live in either!

I briefly saw the art of Nathalie Lété on Decor8 as I quickly scrolled through the blog, but it seemed to have lodged itself in the back of brain. I was walking around Anthropologie in Rockefeller Center, looking to try on this stunning dress, I turned the corner, saw the above, and thought, “Whoa! Cool! Wait, where have a I seen that before?”
What an amazing rug! Want! At $6200, yet again, my expensive taste gets the best of me. It could never, never be put on the ground. Just think of it as a painting made of fabric.
