The suite drew inspiration from, and used heavily, a series of watercolor paintings I did when Jon and I first started dating. I also incorporated vintage maps and postcards from New York, and then developed a handful of icons for interest and reference. I tried to walk the line of traditional / formal and quirky modern, and was very happy with the results.
