I was incredibly honored to come back and participate in the 2nd annual All Hands on Deck show; a fundraiser forArts Council Santa Cruz!
Starting with a color scheme that would vibe with the teal of the board, as a jumping-off point, it was feeling very 1960’s, psychedelic poster. I also wanted to stick to the river / fish theme I used on last year’s design. After those ideas were in place, the design and illustration all feel into place, nicely!
23 boards, in total, were on display at Radius Gallery, June 1 – July 7.
Medium: Acrylic and high-gloss varnish on a color-stained wood board.
