What a glorious weekend! We had a backyard BBQ to get to in Long Island and decided to make an adventure out of it. First traveling through Connecticut and then taking the ferry down to Long Island.

So, no pictures from the very nice weekend I had, while the parents were in town (unless my mom sends me some). Instead, enjoy this amazingly cool photo of Commerce Street, taken in 1904! I need to get some before my trip this weekend. More on that later (exciting!!)....
