Love Me, Love My Apartment

Real estate in New York City has a way of looming large in matters of the heart.

Some couples move in together rather quickly just because a lease has run out. Some can’t decide who moves where because neither wants to give up a good deal on an apartment. Others make the leap and marry because they fear that a co-op board will reject them if they are just living together. And there are people who rule out potential partners simply because of where they live.

The winner of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is…

My family owns a Beagle, so this story was kind of a big deal for us (especially my dad). Daisy, our dog, on the other hand, was reportedly less than enthusiastic about the news. I mean, she was in the middle of a nap and she hates being interrupted during those.

Uno, a 15-inch beagle, poses with his trophy after winning Best in Show at the 132nd Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show at Madison Square Garden in New York on Tuesday. The coveted “Best in Show” award … on Tuesday went to a breed that has never won that honor: the beagle.

Improv Everywhere

The above pictures are from one of my favorite missions, appropriately called Look Up More. It took place in Union Sq in 2005, and it was just awesome!

Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 70 missions involving thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City.
