Ok, I think I might be over the cold and snow… I didn’t even want to go out a play today! Well, I’m glad it’s the weekend. Enjoy it and this awesome video!
P.S. Happy 29th anniversary to my parents!

Happy Friday!

Another case of the man oppressing a couple of everyday clowns!
Police have tracked down a couple of jokers who were snapped going through a traffic speed trap in full clown costumes.

Mmmm!

Last night I tried out a NY Times “recipe” I found the other day: A Potato Salad of a Different Color. With only vague measurements and instructions, this is the closest I’ve ever come to really cooking. Mine doesn’t look quite as pretty as the professional photo, but it was delicious and I proud of myself!
After Hours
And now, just a little fun to get you through those Wednesday blues!
My adventures in the Pittsburgh International Airport during the worst snow storm of the century. After arriving late for a flight at 7:40 PM to LGA I decided to stick around my gate until my flight at 5:40 and had a BLAST!

Mary Huang’s TYPEFACE is custom software that translates facial dimensions into generative type design. Neat stuff!

And a happy Monday to you! Wow, I had forgotten about this beautiful series by Annie Leibovitz, done for Vogue in 2003! Seems appropriate to post since the movie is right around the corner.

Me Oh My
I never meant to stay away for so long… We got in from Jersey late Monday night (pictures!), had piles of work to do on Tuesday, then later that night I got a touch of the food poisoning. Since then I’ve been trying to work and sleep as much as possible. During any of my conscious moments I’ve been listening, almost nonstop, to Mew’s “No More Stories…” and F**k Button’s “Tarot Sport.” I highly, highly recommend both (also Mew’s “And the Glass Handed Kites“).
Hopefully things will return to normal come Monday. Have a great weekend!
That Time of Year Again!
… For our Valentine’s weekend tradition to the Jersey Shore! I’m suuuuper excited! I will see you on Monday; have a wonderful weekend!
Falling Down the Guggenheim Museum Hall

Oh, how I would love for this to exist!
Instead of contemplating the void of the Guggenheim Museum’s central space, JDS architects have proposed an experience which sees a trampoline net spiraling down the institution’s rotunda. This idea plays on Frank Lloyd Wright’s original scenography for the guggenheim in which he envisioned patrons visiting the exhibition from the top, downwards.

Jack & Jules
Once upon a time a California boy met a Georgia girl in New York. They didn't get along, at first. But, little by little, they fell in love. Today, they are happily living in Santa Cruz, CA and still very much in love, running an Etsy print shop and a branding & design business together.
